New Bern Civic Theatre is thrilled to announce a TWO-WEEK SUMMER CAMP EXPERIENCE that will culminate in two live performances of High School Musical, Jr.!

Camp runs July 20–31, 2026 from 8:30 AM to 3 PM each day, and is open to talented young performers ages 8–18. Campers will rehearse, learn, and shine together — then take the stage for two performances on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 2PM & 7:30 PM. Each camper will receive 2 comp tickets for the performances. Additional tickets can be purchased now on our website! Each camper will get a show shirt too!

Camp runs July 27–31, 2026 and is open to tech-interested campers ages 12–18. Participants will dive into what it really takes to bring a production to life behind the scenes—exploring lighting, sound, stage management, props, and costumes—then put their new skills into action in two live performances on Friday, July 31 at 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM.

Each camper will receive two complimentary tickets, and additional tickets will be available for purchase at the time of registration.
